Replay Racer

You're the only one who's here for the movie shoot! Guess you'll be racing all the parts in this race.

Complete a lap around the track underneath different conditions. Your previous laps will be played back while you race around again.

Controls:

• WASD - Move Car
• Space - Handbrake
• R - Reset Car

Dev notes: After building out this prototype, I decided to scrap the idea after playtesting showed that the most fun parts were when you simply raced against yourself. Which is the same as a normal racing game where you raced against bots, but less work. 

The idea of having to drive "poorly" is a neat idea, but comes with a lot of extra rules to try and define it. For example, going by pure time means that someone can just stall before the finish lines. Could a time check at each checkpoint, but then that needs to be communicated to the player.

Learned how to make a solid replay system though, so that was a fun experience. That might be used in future endevours.
